Santa Barbara Elegance

I loved being the day-of coordinator for international couple, Marcela and Sharif. Considering that this was a destination wedding for them and they were planning the entire affair while traveling between LA, Chile & Australia, they had to truly depend on their event professionals along the way. They chose the stunning backdrop of Saint Barbara’s Greek Orthodox Church for their nuptials and the classic elegance of the Four Seasons Biltmore in Montecito for their celebration reception. The bride was whisked away in a beautiful 1957 Bentley Silver Cloud vintage car from Tours A La Carte – what a classy way to make it to the church on time! Don Norris was a pleasure to work with as the photographer (amazing work!!) and Luna Gitana played for the last 2 hours of the night to add a Latin feel to the reception reflecting Marcela’s Chilean heritage. To introduce Luna Gitana and start the “real” part of the night, Marcela arranged for beautiful Carnival-esque masks for all of her guests to dance the night away. It was a beautiful representation of her culture and love of life!
